Use of satellite earth imaging capabilities to detect, predict and prevent potential forest fires

One of our areas of collaboration is the use of the Earth’s satellite imaging capabilities, to detect, predict and prevent potential forest fires. As part of this project, we are developing innovative tools that allow us to quickly identify areas at risk of fires and forecast their occurrence. In this way, our solutions allow a rapid response in the event of a fire threat, which in turn minimises environmental damage and ensures human safety.

Another area of collaboration is the development of AgriTech applications and services using space. Through the use of satellite data, we are able to provide our customers with accurate information on the condition of their crops, such as soil moisture, temperature, sunshine and vegetation index. As a result, our customers are able to better manage their crops, maximising yields and reducing the risk of losses. By applying precision farming mechanisms, significant environmental benefits are obtained in addition to a reduction in economic costs.

An additional area of cooperation is the analysis of oil spills using multispectral remote sensing data, Our solutions allow oil spills to be quickly identified, allowing the relevant services to respond immediately. With our solutions, we are able to minimise environmental damage and ensure the safety of our customers.
