In connection with the implementation of the R&D project titled “A system for the recognition and analysis of satellite and aerial imagery for the needs of agriculture and archaeology,” carried out under the INFOSTRATEG programme, we are looking for a person to join our team as a Satellite Data Analysis Engineer.
Employment terms:

Candidate profile:
- Education: MSc in Engineering (preferred fields: aerospace engineering, mechatronics, computer science, geoinformatics).
Technical skills:
- Python (production and analytical programming).
- Linux, Bash, Git.
- Fundamentals of Remote Sensing and GIS.
- Fundamentals of Machine Learning and Deep Learning.
- English proficiency: minimum B2.
Soft skills:
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Independence and good communication skills.
- Working with data: preparing analyses and drawing conclusions based on data.
Preferred qualifications:
- Libraries: NumPy, pandas, TensorFlow/PyTorch, scikit-learn, rasterio, GeoPandas, FastAPI, unittest/pytest.
- SQL and database technologies.
- Agile (Scrum preferred).
- Satellite and aerial imagery processing.
- Working with Sentinel-1 / Sentinel-2 data.
- QGIS.
Responsibilities in the R&D project:
- Processing and analysis of satellite data.
- Feature extraction (including vegetation indices such as NDVI and EVI).
- ETL process automation.
- Dataset preparation and quality control.
- Supporting ML/DL model training and reporting results.
- Developing evaluation scripts and monitoring experiments.
- Developing code along with unit tests.
